Pastor Tommy Rucker is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Dunkerton, Iowa since January, 2007. He is a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, where he earned a Master of Divinity in Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth from the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth. He has been a pastor since 1999, and he has a love for the small church. He is married to Kay for more than 27 years, and they have 3 children and 5 wonderful grandchildren. He is a native of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and that makes him a fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. Go Cats!! Tommy is a country boy who never got over being raised on the farm, so he’s just a simple man who loves God and loves people. The only thing that makes him worth anything at all is the grace of God and his faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

Tommy,
Hey! I can’t believe they let another Kentucky boy up here in Iowa. I am in Ames, IA and have been here since Nov. 2006. If you don’t remember the name right off, we went to Boyce and Southern together. I would enjoy chatting with you. Send me your email or just reply to me at mine. Hope to talk to you soon.

Hey man, great to see you!!!! I have to say that I have always wanted to shave my head but have been afraid of what I will look like. So to see you sporting the shaved look makes me jealous.
Hope things are well for you!!!
